The colors are spellbinding. I have no idea where this photo was taken, but on the East Coast (where the sun rises over the ocean), nothing can match a sunrise barrel. There’s something ethereal with the coloring, empty beach, and quiet surroundings, with the restless ocean and cranky birds providing the only sounds. Peaceful.

Geminid Meteor Shower.

Now you can see that the adjacent rock is higher so he tried to land lower, which is quite steep and tried to use his one hand to grab the rock.
